INDÓMITA dance | theater bases its work on the observation of the intergenerational phenomenon and understands the inclusion of all people in the socio-cultural environment as a right to beauty.

Our work creating works, provoking corporal-relational research laboratories and transferring scenic knowledge, is aimed at provoking living experiences from and for the body that resonate with people of any age.

Azalea López

Azalea López Inzunza

I am a graduate of the National School of Classical and Contemporary Dance of Mexico City. I have created INDÓMITA dance | theater, a project dedicated to scenic creation and through which I teach the Family Movement Laboratory. In 2015 I started my collaboration in the Colectivo de Teatro en Espiral company. Currently I am also a member of the Caricia Collective and the Link Network of Scenic Creation for the First Years. I work as a teacher at the Higher Institute of Performing Arts ISAE and at the School of Arts of the Palace of Culture and the PALCCO Congresses.

I was a member of the Lux Boreal company (2004-2018), where I developed as a dancer, teacher and choreographer and during that time I made numerous national and international tours. I have completed complementary studies such as the “2nd Diploma in Dramaturgical Writing aimed at Young Audiences” at the Centro Cultural La Titería and Cultura UNAM, and the “Diploma in Child Mental Health, Parenting, Attachment and Childhood Development” from the Fundación América por la Childhood, the workshop “Teaching Competences” of the National Pedagogical University, the “Workshop of Experiential Action” of the company del Sótano and the “Integrated Theater Dance Diploma for Vulnerable Groups” of the company La Manga A.C.

Michelle Guerra

Director, pedagogue, promoter and theater producer. I studied at the Faculty of Theater of the Universidad Veracruzana and I am a graduate of the Master of Arts of the Faculty of Arts of the Autonomous University of Baja California.
I currently work as a teacher at both universities. I have been the director of the Spiral Theater Collective since 2005. Coodirector since 2009 of the "Baja California Children's Theater Week '', and founder in 2021 of the "International Theater Encounter for Early Years': Childhood, Territory of Peace”.

Karina Hurtado

Artistic director of the Ánima Escénica company. I trained as a Bachelor of Performing Arts for Theatrical Expression at the University of Guadalajara. I was part of the Luna Morena group, where I worked as an actress, puppeteer, executive producer, director and assistant director in various productions. I have shared my artistic work nationally and in countries like the United States, Colombia and Canada. Artistic director of the AZOTEAS MX project and collaborator in a project for the prevention of violence with Corpo Creativo A.C.

Luis Fernando Cano Román

Illuminator and set designer for theater, circus, dance and music. Bachelor of Visual Arts with orientation in Photography at the University of Guadalajara. Director of INUMBRA project for the design and realization of a scenic space. I was theatrical technician and head of the forum for the Luna Morena Puppet Company at the Guadalajara Theater of the IMSS. In lighting for Opera I have worked on “Elixir de amor” by Gaetano Donizetti, “Carmen” by Georges Bizet and “Rigoletto” by Giuseppe Verdi, set to music by the Jalisco. 

Luisa Guzmán

Production of Performing Arts. I participate in the executive production for the Ánima Escénica and Adomicilio Teatro companies. I have been a member of the production team of the General Coordination of Production and Diffusion of Performing Arts of the University of Guadalajara since 2019. I collaborated as general assistant, production and coordination of workshops for the company Luna Morena and in its Festín de los Muñecos Guadalajara International Puppet Festival in (2013 to 2019). Projects, shows and festivals such as: AzoteasMX, Revealed Spaces Festival, National School Theater Program, The International Book Fair and FIL Children, Jalisco State Theater Show from 2015 to 2019.

Colectivo Caricia

The Caricia Collective arises from the search for fantastic, playful and educational spaces for children. It is made up of creators from Tijuana, Cdmx and Guadalajara, Miroslava Wilson from the company Péndulo Cero, Emiliano López from the company Triciclo Rojo and Azalea López from the indómita.danzateatro project. He has created "App Charisma, dance, vibrate and invent", a digital application designed for girls and boys in Mexico and Latin America connecting dance, music and technology, in collaboration with the Musical Arts Foundation of Baja California, Toyota and Mercy Foundation.

Red Vincular

VINCULAR the Latin American Network of Scenic Creation for the Early Years arises from the need to make visible the right of children in their early years to participate and enjoy cultural and artistic meetings and events in community, as citizens part of society. It is made up of companies from Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Uruguay and Spain. The people who make up these companies share an interest in creating professional quality stage proposals for children in their first years of life, in a responsible and committed manner, based on respect and sensitivity.
